WESTERN SKIES TANNERY

Western Skies Tannery was created by business partners Ken Broadhead and Kelly Kennedy in 2003.  Their objective has been to provide taxidermists with quality tanned products, because as we all know, a superior mount starts with a superior tan.  What started out as an idea to help Utah taxidermists has exploded into an industry surehold in the Western United States.

Westerm Skies Tannery assumes no responsibility nor guarantees the results of any dressed specimen due to the many circumstances surronding the handling and preparation of the hides prior to our receiving them.  The limit of the tannery's liability for loss or damage to any item shall not exceed the actual tanning cost of that item.

We recommend salting all hides completely, at least two times, and allowing them to completely dry.  The product's end result will be directly affected by the care and handling you provice.  Improper handling may result in hair slippage or the skin not accepting the tan..
